This guide walks Account Admins through the process of importing CxAlloy project data into Built Insights. Follow the steps below to connect your CxAlloy account and begin importing project information into the platform.

Step 1: Log in to Built Insights

Navigate to your Built Insights account and log in using your account credentials.

Step 2: Open Project Imports

Click Project Imports from the navigation menu.

Important: The following steps require a valid CxAlloy API Identifier and API Key. These credentials are created within the CxAlloy platform, not within Built Insights. For assistance, please reference the CxAlloy TQ API documentation.

Step 3: Enter the CxAlloy API Identifier

Locate the API Identifier in CxAlloy and enter it into the CxAlloy Identifier field in Built Insights.

Step 4: Enter the CxAlloy API Key

Locate the API Key in CxAlloy and enter it into the CxAlloy Key field in Built Insights.

Step 5: Save the integration settings

After entering both fields, click Update.

Step 6: Confirm the import

Built Insights will prompt you to confirm the import of CxAlloy project data. Click Yes to continue.

Step 7: Import project data

The API import process will begin automatically. If changes are later made in CxAlloy and the data needs to be refreshed, click Import Now to import the updated project data again.

Step 8: Confirm the data refresh

Built Insights will again prompt you to confirm the import action. Click Yes to continue.

Step 9: Import complete

The CxAlloy project data import is now complete.
